The
2008 season is here, as unbelievable as that is. It’s been 27 years
since Tim Bender began selling some of the suspension mods and racing
parts that would help him win 11 Eagle River World Championships, and
the 12th year of operation since we partnered with him, and eventually
took over day to day operations. The snowmobile industry has changed a
lot over those years, though strangely for us, we’ve come full
circle…the business we left to embark on this opportunity offered by
Tim was Aerocharger turbo systems, manufacturer of turbo kits for a
number of snowmobiles, (and HD motorcycles) including the
V-Max 4. Now nearly 12 years later, four-stroke technology has put us
back in the turbo business, and we’ve expanded our turbo kit line to
include the two-stroke 1000 cc Ski Doo models.
We’re also excited about all the buzz around the new Yamaha Apex
and Attak and Nytro, and the boost these sleds are giving to their
market share. As the reliability of our turbo kits continues to be
proven, more and more high performance junkies are inquiring about
equipping these new sleds with Bender Racing kits. With all the kits
available, time has proven our kits to have the least problems with
reliability, or component failure. With other kits having cumbersome
recommendations such as opening the hood after ordinary WOT operation,
we’re more convinced than ever that our rear-mount design is much more
trail and track friendly. Why chance a major failure when it’s not
necessary? We also offer extensive technical support, via phone and
email. We’ve chosen to stay away from providing tech support on
internet forums where the distinction between online help and
self-promotion is less clear for consumers.
